Scent Formula (see description for notes)

Caput Mortuum, latin for Death's Head, is a substance used in alchemy. Often represented by a stylized human skull. We will be releasing Caput Mortuum candles slowly over the coming weeks. Each scent is represented as a "Formula." Our Caput Mortuum blends are not available in our traditional vessels and are very limited in quantity. Each candle is hand poured and labeled in Coastal New Hampshire.

Formula 1: a lovely gourmand blend of sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, sea salt, buttermilk, pretzel, tonka, & musk

Formula 2: a beautiful earthy blend of wet leaves underfoot, fallen wood, & green moss

Formula 3: a comforting melody of warm spices, vanilla tonka, honey, osmanthus, labdanum, jasmine, coconut, cedarwood, patchouli, musk, amber, and cocoa butter

Caput Mortuum features luxurious coconut apricot wax. Coconut apricot wax is a FDA approved creamy, buttery blend of coconut oil, apricot wax, and a tiny bit of food grade paraffin.

Caput Mortuum is a wood wick candle. Wood wicks should be kept trimmed to 1/4 inch to maintain a steady flame that is free of sparks.
